How we handle your information.

We collect as little as we can, we use it only to do the work you asked for, and we don't sell it. Here are the specifics.
Information you give us
- Contact and business details. Your name, business name, mobile number, email address and anything you type into our preview request or intake forms.
- Files you send. Logos, photos and other materials for your website.
- Project preferences. Colors, wording changes and other instructions.
- Payment information. Handled by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records ordinary details such as IP address, browser, device type and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.
- Analytics. We may use privacy-friendly analytics, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.
- Public business information. To build a preview, we may use details a business publishes on Google, such as its name, address, phone, hours, rating, public reviews and category.
- Calls. Calls with us, including calls answered by our virtual assistant, may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and our records. We tell you when the law requires it.
How we use it
- To build your preview and your website, and to run the services you buy.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your preview, your account and services you've asked about.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To keep records of consent and the records required for business and tax purposes.
- To protect the site and our customers from spam and misuse.
Calls and texts
We text only people who have given us permission. If you give us your mobile number, you agree that we may call or text you about your preview and our services, including by automated means. Consent isn't required to buy anything. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. To stop calls, tell us on a call or email us, and we'll add your number to our do-not-call list.
We don't sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
When we work for our clients
When we run services for a client, such as answering their calls or sending review requests to their customers, we handle their customers' information on that client's behalf and only to provide those services. The client's own privacy policy covers that relationship.
Service providers we use
A small number of providers help us run the business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job and processes it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare for website hosting, security and analytics
- Supabase for our secure customer database
- Google Workspace for business email, and Resend for sending email
- Stripe for payments and billing
- Our phone, text and virtual assistant providers, such as Quo and Retell AI
- Google Places and Maps for public business listing data
- Pexels for licensed stock photos used in some previews
- Domain registrars for registering client web addresses
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and code from cdnjs, which receive your IP address when they deliver those files.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies we use are strictly necessary for the site to work or for secure checkout.
How long we keep it
We keep information while we're working with you, and as long as we need it for business, tax and consent records. Previews that aren't purchased expire and are removed. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we'll delete what we aren't required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use encrypted connections, keep payments with Stripe and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be exposed, but we take reasonable, current steps to protect it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
